ACCOMPLISHMENTS OVER PAST 15 YEARS

  • Being a U.S. registered non-profit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization with a valid OFAC license.
  • Educating the Iranian communities in US and other countries on topics, such as, the rules and guidelines for operating a charity in US, economic sanctions-OFAC, and monitoring and evaluation of projects.
  • Providing 93% of funds collected for implementing projects within our programs insocial services, education and health.

Educational Program

  • Contributing to funding a Mobile Library & BAM IT Center near Bam, Iran.
  • Helping Rebuild School for earthquake stricken children in the village of BajBaj, Azarbaijan , Iran.
  • Funding educational & vocational programs for the Street & Working Children in Khaneh Mehr in Karaj Iran.
  • Establishing a strong Internship programs for US University students to volunteer for projects in Iran.
  • Providing annual College Scholarship to Iranian students across US and Iran.

Our Current Health & Social Services Programs

  • Zabol Medical Clinic

    Children of Persia is currently working to construct and equip a rural medical clinic.  The building – at 675 sq. mt. (approximately 7,200 sq. ft.) – will offer healthcare services and health educational programs.

  • Community Health Fair

    Children of Persia offers community health services in both Iran and the United States, that include medicine/medical equipment drives, cancer patient assistance and a medical support network.

  • Families in Crisis

    Children of Persia is dedicated to the well-being of children.  In this regard, it finds it necessary to assist families in crisis to make a better environment for the child in both Iran & the United States.

Health Program

  • Constructing and equipping the 24 hour Zabol Clinic in Sistan va Baluchestan, Iran.
  • Facilitating Medical Assistance for children & adolescents with medical/surgical needs in US and globally.
  • Organizing 1st of its kind Community Health Fair Program for the Iranian American community.

Social Services Program

  • Supporting Children and Families in Crisis in the US and globally who struggle to survive.
  • Collaborating with various organizations in providing short-term Humanitarian Assistance to Bam and Azarbaijan.
  • Helping to raise awareness & funds through Relay Race & Kid’s Fun Run activity.
  • Bringing in communities together for Walk 4 Children, an annual fall festival to benefit children.

COP XY

Children of Persia (COP) has established an active program for the X and Y Generations (COP XY)COP XY is open to all young professionals and students.

The program is developed and coordinated by COP to offer a wide range of educational and social activities throughout the year.

COP XY is entrusted with facilitating opportunities for the mentoring and social action of young professionals and students.  COP XY not only helps its participants, but also ensures continuity within the leadership of the organization as a whole.
Becoming involved in COP XY is a great way to make a valuable and lasting contribution while developing the initiative that can lead to greater achievement and recognition within our community.
